At Highcroft we have developed a Care strategy to be proud of. Those in our care, trust the support they receive to live their lives to their fullest potential in a safe, clean, comfortable environment, whilst their families are confident that the care we give will maximise their quality of life both medically and socially.

We are fore-runners in the development of a strategy of care that has been successful over the past five years, as acknowledged by the Care Quality Commission who rated us ‘Excellent’ in every category that was inspected whilst the star rating system was in place.

To ensure that our Quality of Care is ongoing, it is subject to continuous scrutiny and development. We care for our Residents in an holistic manner, assessing each person on a regular basis to ensure the care they receive remains appropriate to their needs.

Well-balanced meals using fresh produce are served daily, with special diets being catered for. We have a theory that good nutrition is essential for anyone whose health is compromised for any reason.

Our philosophy starts with the understanding that no-one wants to be in a nursing home, and it is with this in mind that our prime task is to effect the transition into this realm of the unknown in an uncomplicated and relaxed manner.
